We have summarized the best way to order secondary market tickets
on the last days before the show. You can sometime order tickets
even on the day of the show, although it requires extra effort
and may not always work out. Since most brokers offering the
tickets for Broadway shows are based around the theater district
you can usually pick up the "same day" tickets in their office
or a nearby restaurant.
To make sure you get your last minute tickets on time
(when there is no more time for express delivery)
please follow these steps:
1. Order tickets online: No phone orders for "Same day" tickets.
2. Since there is no option to select "pick-up", leave the default
express delivery selection.
3. In the "special instructions" field enter the following (or
similar): "Order is conditional on being able to pick up the
tickets in the Times Square area in time for the show. Please
do not charge the express delivery fee, if not used, although
the system adds it to invoice. Please call my mobile [give all
the numbers they can reach you during the day]. Thanks"
4. Add any other instructions/conditions you wish, including
those relating to the tickets you purchase.
5. In the next page (step two) you will notice the delivery
charge, but based on your "special instructions" (in paragraph
3 above) you will usually not be charged for delivery. In some
cases delivery fee is charged for delivery to the pick-up spot.
6. Complete the rest of purchase process.
7. Wait for the confirmation email. You will usually get it
within one hour during business hours, including the weekend.
Most business hours are 9AM to 5/8PM Monday thru Saturday and
10AM to 3PM on Sunday.
8. In the confirmation email you will find the name of the selling
broker and their contact information. Typically: "Your tickets
will be provided to you by XYZ. If you have any questions about
your order, please contact XYZ directly via email at Sales@XYZ.com
or phone at 1-1-800-XYZ."
9. Do not wait for the broker to call you. Call them, confirm
the order, and find out where you can pick the tickets.

11. Though this description is a bit detailed, it is a very
quick and easy process. I have used it myself a few times for
last minutes purchases and had no problem picking up the tickets
on time for the show.
