Priscilla is on Broadway! PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT is a hit musical by the Australian producer Gary McQuinn, based on the 1994 movie titled "
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert". Priscilla had transferred from London's West End to Broadway in 2011.
Priscilla on Broadway is based on the Oscar award-winning film, telling the story of Tick, Bernadette and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing drag queen trio that agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. Priscilla is a heart-warming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed.
