LOOKING FOR BILLY HAINES is Presented by small or LARGE Productions. LOOKING FOR BILLY HAINES is a funny, touching love story (with dance!) set in present-day New York City. Struggling actor Jamie Hollis gets an audition for a feature film about Billy Haines, a real life gay movie star of the 1920s and 30s who gave up his career to stay in an out relationship with his partner. Billy's story, along with Jamie's rather vibrant imagination and his three colorful roommates, helps Jamie realize that he needs to make some decisions about his own unsatisfying relationship with a closeted man.
