Kenny Barrett (Tobias Segal) did something that has his mother (Julie White) and everyone around him worried. He wishes he could just make it through the rest of his senior year unnoticed, but that's going to be hard since he has to publicly apologize to his entire high school. At home, his family is struggling with second marriages, surprise visits, school dances and forgotten dry cleaning.

This eclectic universe comes to fascinating life in FROM UP HERE, a new play by Liz Flahive receiving its world premiere this spring at Manhattan Theatre Club's Stage I at New York City Center.

Written by a bright new talent with a fresh voice, this darkly funny and unexpectedly moving family story is directed by Leigh Silverman (Hunting and Gathering, Well). The cast features Jenni Barber (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Arija Bareikis (The Last Night of Ballyhoo), Aya Cash (The Pain and the Itch), Brian Hutchison (Proof), Will Rogers (100 Saints You Should Know), Tobias Segal (Doris to Darlene), Joel Van Liew (Well), and Julie White (the 2007 Best Actress Tony Award-winner for The Little Dog Laughed).
