Bayside! The Musical! is the hilarious unauthorized parody of the wholesome Saturday morning show “Saved by the Bell” produced by the iconic humor brand National Lampoon to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the “Saved by the Bell” premiere. All shows this fall feature Dustin Diamond – the original “Screech” from the TV series – as Dustin Diamond, the role he was born to play. The show was named “Critics’ Pick” by The New York Times and called “a supremely funny throwback delight” by Entertainment Weekly. With seven extensions, has been playing to feverishly-enthusiastic, standing-room-only crowds since September 2013. Bayside! is currently scheduled to run through December 2014 at Theatre 80 (80 St. Mark’s Place at First Avenue). Bayside! tackles all the tough questions: Will Zack and Kelly break up? Will Slater quit wrestling forever? Screech die? This show has it all: brick-sized cell phones, homoerotic wrestling, abject feminism, sexy ducks covered in oil, Trapper Keepers, and the perils of caffeine addiction. Know Before You Go
Both romantic and scary, The Phantom of the Opera is a thrilling night of theater with grand emotions.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score, with its beloved signature song “Music of the Night,” sets the mood,
but you may also find yourself humming the gorgeous period costumes and simple yet grand sets
(even the famous chandelier, which probably falls slower than you’d expect, is a thrill).
