August: Osage County Tickets

Meet the Westons. Dad’s disappeared. Mom’s popping pills. One daughter’s bound for divorce. And that's just the start. Equally harrowing and hysterical, Tracy Letts’ award-winning drama has already been hailed as an American classic.

Tickets at Music Box Theatre

The Music Box was opened in 1921 by producer Sam H. Harris and composer Irving Berlin to showcase a series of Berlin’s “Music Box Revues.” Heralded on more than one occasion as the “best looking house on Broadway,” this 87-year-old venue has only been home to legitimate theater—unlike many of its neighbors.

To this day, The Music Box is co-owned by Irving Berlin’s estate along with the Shubert Organization.

Story for August: Osage County

AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Tracy Letts tells the story of the Westons, a large extended clan that comes together at their rural Oklahoma homestead when the alcoholic patriarch disappears. Forced to confront unspoken truths and astonishing secrets, the family must also contend with matriarch Violet, a pill-popping, deeply unsettled woman at the center of this storm.
