Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"Once In A While" from The Rocky Horror Show (Ryan McCartan)

Ulterior Motives: Before the film that prompted interactive midnight showings throughout the world with enthusiastic moviegoers dressing up in bedazzled costumes throwing toast at the screen of 1975's The Rocky Horror Picture Show, there was The Rocky Horror Show. The Richard O'Brien penned musical travelled from London's West End, to Los Angeles to landing for a quick run on Broadway in Spring 1975 prior to Summer 1975's film release which also starred its Broadway cast members Tim Curry as Frank 'N' Furter, Meat Loaf as Eddie / Dr. Scott, and Richard O'Brien himself as Riff Raff. For those unfamiliar, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss get a flat tire on their way home from a wedding with only a curious mansion to go to for help. While there, the couple meet a fantastical group of residents and hijinks ensue. Plus of course "just a jump to the left and then a step to the right" with "The Time Warp."

In honor of the musical's opening night anniversary, we're rewatching a clip of Ryan McCartan singing Brad Majors' Act 2 tune "Once In A While." The song, part of the Broadway score, was only released as a DVD special feature from the recent TV remake of the musical for FOX.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Hearing Ryan's legit vocals on this tune are so wonderful! Our ultimate moment is easily 2:47-2:56. That flawless vibrato into a key change!?
