Hot Clip of the Day: Broadway Cares' Annual Flea Market Goe…

Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction 2019 Highlights (Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Derek Klena, Krystina Alabado, Tom Hiddleston, Gavin Creel, André De Shields and Bebe Neuwirth)

Ulterior Motives: One beloved tradition present at the beginning of the fall theatre season is when theatre fans gather into Shubert Alley and the surrounding West 44th and 45th Streets to find Broadway treasures and mementos from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' annual Broadway Flea Market. We love the story of the event's origin on the Broadway Cares website: "started simply in 1987 with two tables set up by cast members of A Chorus Line outside their stage door in Shubert Alley." In years past, sometimes the flea market had extended into Times Square. Fans will remember years back when in 2009 a rainstorm brought the event into the now closed Roseland Ballroom. The 34th incarnation of the event is now changing venues this year by going completely virtual on Sunday, September 20. Learn more all about the auctions, eBay "buy it now" bundles, and more on how you can have virtual video visits with your favorite stars on the Broadway Cares website!

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: What a wonderful snapshot of last year's event. So many famous faces and opportunities for fans to find special items at the show tables. In the video, we always love a funny Derek Klena moment so the ultimate moment has to be 0:23 - 0:26.
