Broadway Tour Guide: Glass Menagerie Star Celia Keenan-Bolg…

Celia Keenan-Bolger may have Midwestern roots, but after four Broadway hits, two Tony nominations and seven off-Broadway shows, it's safe to consider this theater star a bonafide New Yorker. Keenan-Bolger, who is currently giving a devastatingly beautiful performance as Laura Wingfield in the acclaimed revival of The Glass Menagerie, shared with BroadwayBox her four favorites places to be in NYC (when she's not playing with her glass figurines, of course). Check out her picks below, and don't be foolish enough to miss this brilliant staging of The Glass Menagerie on Broadway.

The Brooklyn Bridge

BK Bridge

"I love walking across the bridge from Manhattan, getting a Butter Pecan ice cream at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory in Dumbo and walking back across."

ABC Kitchen in Union Square

ABC Kitchen

"This is my favorite restaurant in the city. They aren't giving the food away, but it's incredibly delicious, fresh, and locally focused. You must order the crab toast, roasted carrot salad and salted caramel sundae."

Laughing Lotus Yoga in the Flatiron District

Laughing Lotus Yoga

"This is my favorite way to get exercise in the city. The classes are rigorous and the teachers are amazing. I especially love Alison Cramer, Sheri Celentano, and Dana Flynn. I always leave feeling physically and spiritually invigorated."

Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg

Brooklyn Bowl

"This place has everything: bowling, live music, dancing and incredible food. On Thursday nights, Questlove from the Roots DJs starting at 11 PM, and it's a really fun dance party. It's a trip out to Williamsburg but you can't find this kind of space/fun in Manhattan."
