Today, a new generation is introduced to the heartbreaking love story of A Star Is Born thanks to the latest film adaptation starring Lady Gaga & Tony nominee Bradley Cooper.

But for the more seasoned queen, A Star Is Born conjures up memories of a permed-for-her-life Ms. Barbra Streisand in 1976, the tragedy of OG 1937 star Janet Gaynor, or (most memorably) Judy Garland arm-stretched lamenting “The Man That Got Away” in the iconique 1954 version.
