If you can't find a discount offer that meets your needs then purchasing regular priced tickets might be your best option. The key benefit is that you aren't limited to any discount offer constraints when looking for tickets, and you'll have secured your tickets in advance.

Digital Lottery

Tickets just $54


The digital lottery is one way to try and save money on Wicked tickets. However, our research shows that people have better luck winning tickets with the general, in-person lottery versus the digital lottery. That doesn't mean you shouldn't consider the digital lottery though!

  • Digital lottery is not available for every performance. Please check the scheduled lotteries for upcoming dates.
  • For matinee performances the lottery opens the day before at 10am, closes at 4pm.
  • For evening performances the lottery opens the day before at 8pm, closes the day of at 11am.
  • Winners will be notified and have 1 hour to purchase tickets online via credit card.
  • Tickets are delivered as e-tickets emailed to the winner’s email address.
  • Ticket limit 2 per customer
  • Limit 1 entry per person, per performance
  • Seats may be located in any section of the theater.
  • The box office will make an effort to seat pairs together with a full view, but partial views possible and pairs may be split up.
  • The number of tickets available varies and is at the discretion of the box office.

Student Rush

Tickets are $39


Wicked doesn't offer student rush but does offer student rate tickets. This means you can get tickets in advance with a student discount, unlike rush tickets where it's same-day performance only.

Tickets at Gershwin Theatre

When it opened in 1972, the then Uris Theatre was the first large Broadway theater erected since the Earl Carroll in 1931. Designed by set designer Ralph Alswang, it is located at the front of a large office building.

In 1983, during the Tony Awards, the venue was renamed after famed composer George Gershwin.

How to Get Discounts at the Box Office

There are no active discounts for Wicked, and it's never available at TKTS. However, you may visit their box office in person to purchase tickets and save fees. As always, if you do not have flexibility we advise making a purchase in advance to secure your tickets.
