Her raw honesty, vulnerability, self actualized narrative comes straight from the heart and makes tragedy palpable and hope an unfathomable possibility. I simply wanted to hug her and say, "you poor wounded yet brave little bird." This is a brilliant piece of work and Maddie has perfect pitch. The most moving theatre I have experienced in a very long time. A true gift.

And I so appreciated the moving back-and-forth from being the narrator to then being in it… It was moving, funny and emotionally gratifying in every way.
