Should be more shows like the Newsies!
The show was absolutely incredible from the acting to the dancing to the energy. One of the nicest things was just how wholesome it was and in this day and age it is so hard to find top notch heartwarming entertainment for both young and old. I just want and now I am dying to go again so to paraphrase the show 'Watch what happens'. There's only another week or so left so buy your tickets and go NOW.

...but only if you like high-energy performances with terrific dancing! Take your family and enjoy this show that will make you sing and smile. Cast members come to the Stage Door after performances...your kids can Tweet a pix of themselves with a Newsie!

Fabulous!!!
The dancing in this musical was none like I've ever seen! Coupled with the singing which just leaves such a lasting impression of conviction. We just saw Newsies for the third time and would see it again in a heartbeat, it was that good!!!

I went with my drama club and I loved the show. Kid friendly and filled with amazing choreography .

Marvelous show! Would see again and again...
A definite favorite... What a super show! I grew up loving the movie and can now say that I LOVE the bway show. You will not be disappointed... this is a show for all with one showstopper after another. The singing and dancing are outstanding. The set design was amazing as well! Go see Newsies! Ps: Sat in the rear Mezz and could see everything fine! :)

Great Music, Outstanding Dancing, Superb Lead Actor!
Went to see Newsies on July 5th without a lot of preconceived notions. I had not seen the movie and knew very little about the storyline. I was absolutely blown away. Every musical number was full of incredibly full harmony and the dancing was outstanding. The energy in the theatre was unbelievable. Long ovations that the cast had to wait multiple times to begin again. Jeremy Jordan as the lead was completely compelling. His acting, not to mention his singing, was certainly worthy of a Tony award. I predict he will become a superstar on Broadway (if he's not already). I have seen 10-15 shows on Broadway including Phantom, Les Miz, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Spiderman, Beauty and the Beast, etc. and this has instantly become one of my favorites. Go see it!!!

What a show!
What a show! Didn't think I would like the script changes, but the story is great either way! Don't take chances, get your tickets early. Theatre is small.

Seize the Day!
GREAT SHOW! I've seen quite a few musicals and I have not seen a show with this much talent, charisma, and energy on the stage and that energy transfers into the audience. Applause went on several minutes after almost every song. I am by no means a dancer, but this show made me want to take a dance class. The Choreography was INTENSE.
Jeremy Jordan definitely has the IT factor. He commands the stage and is so into every single moment.
As a whole, NEWSIES is a great ensemble piece. It was great to see a piece where the ensemble really is the driving force of the entire show.

If you see any show, this is the one to see.
Newsies is an upbeat positive show perfect for the whole family. The music and choreography are amazing.

Pure energy and just plain fun! Can't wait to see it again!
I have never seen the Newsies movie so I can't compare it to the stage version. However, as a professional theatre person it takes a lot to impress me and pull me into the story. Newsies does just that. I loved all of the dancing-after all it is a musical so it is to be expected. The music was great as well-especially the ballad "Something to Believe In." The technical elements were also very impressive yet not as complex as most Disney shows. I liked the simplicity of the set. I was surrounded by a range of people who all enjoyed the show trememendously-young to old. I am going back to see it next month and would recommend it to anyone who wants a great musical to see.
