Story for The Assignment
The Assignment is an original play about an English professor who is shaken when a student’s personal essay reopens long buried wounds. The play explores the the long-term emotional toll of violence, and the struggle to forgive others and ourselves.
Through creative workshops, original performances, and post-show discussions, Houses on the Moon helps communities come together by making meaningful connections through the public sharing of their untold stories.
