Story for H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds

Our country is attacked by foreign invaders! Will mankind survive? The Award-Winning RADIOTHEATRE is pleased to announce its Multi-Media production of H.G.Wells’ WAR OF THE WORLDS! Come in out of the cold and enter into the darkness of 160 yrs old St.John's Sanctuary in historic Greenwich Village where the critically acclaimed RADIOTHEATRE presents LIVE ON STAGE the greatest science-fiction-adventure tale of all time! The 1898 H.G.Wells’ classic, which has never been out of print, is still one of the most influential morality stories in Western literature and has been adapted into big budget movies, several TV series, countless literary adaptations and the most famous radio drama of ALL time…Orson Welles’ 1938 controversial broadcast. (NOTE: This show is NOT the Orson Welles’ radio version!) RADIOTHEATRE is NOT an old time radio recreation, but, a 21st Century performance group which comes complete with its stellar cast of 6 playing 22 roles, an original orchestral score unlike anything on stage and a plethora of sound FX! Just bring your imagination!

Now in it's 11th Season, Radiotheatre has produced over 80 shows in NYC and on tour, won 2 NY Innovative Theatre Awards, nominated 13 times, 5 yrs in a row as Best Performance Group...and nominated for a Drama Desk Award. RT's Artistic Director, Dan Bianchi, won the 2014 NYIT Award for Creative Achievement.
