American Songbook at NJPAC Tickets

Nominated for a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for direction, American Songbook at NJPAC – a words-and-music series co-presented by NJPAC and NJTV – returns for a third season! Join theater insider and host Ted Chapin as he chats with the country’s best-loved Broadway and cabaret artists following their performances in the intimate Victoria Theater. Each evening features some of the country’s best-loved Broadway and cabaret artists performing their favorite American Songbook standards, followed by a Q&A session conducted by Chapin, the President and Executive Director of Rodgers & Hammerstein: An Imagen Company. This year’s featured guests on Sunday the 25th include Jessie Mueller & Jarrod Spector of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical; cabaret great Marilyn Maye and the return of composer Stephen Schwartz & Friends. On Monday the 26th, featured guests include jazz royal Catherine Russell; award-winning recording artists and Sondheim specialists KT Sullivan & Jeff Harnar; and SiriusXM Broadway host and pianist Seth Rudetsky with special guest Christine Ebersole.
