Story for Addicted to Show Business

Written and performed by 3 Time Emmy Award winner Dave Konig, with direction and musical score by Ian Finkel, Addicted to Show Business is a comedic tour de force about the one addiction there’s no 12 Step program for!

In this hilarious – and uplifting – new show, Konig cons his way into a starring role in a Broadway musical (even though he can’t sing or dance), he talks his way into – and out of – hosting a national talk radio show for the Catholic Church (even though he’s Jewish), Adam Sandler pushes him on stage, Carol Burnett falls in -and out- of love with him, and someone in the audience gets decapitated (really).

Writer and performer Dave Konig has performed stand up comedy all over the world, and played Vince Fontaine in the Broadway Tommy Tune production of Grease! He won 3 Emmys as co-host of the New York comedy TV series Subway Q&A and hosted the infamous HBO late night comedy series Hardcore TV.

Director and music designer Ian Finkel is regarded as the world's greatest xylophone virtuoso. He has appeared and written for such stars as Michael Feinstein, Sid Caesar, Ginger Rogers to name just a few. He has directed countless music and comedy revues.
