Warren G is an American rapper and hip hop producer. His Grammy nominated hit "Regulate", with Nate Dogg, was released in 1994 and reached number 2 on Billboard Hot 100. In 1990 Warren G formed the group 213 with Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg. The group broke up before releasing any records, and the three artists pursued separate careers.

Warren G released his debut album in 1994. The album, "Regulate... G Funk Era", sold over 4.5 million copies and received positive reviews from the critics. Warren G's second album, "Take a Look Over Your Shoulder (Reality)", was released in 1997 and achieved platinum status. The album includes the rap remake of "I Shot The Sheriff". Warren G's third album, "I Want It All" (1999), offers a jazz-rock fusion style and features singers such as Snoop Dog, Mack 10, Eve, and Kurupt. In 2003, the group 213 reunited and recorded the album "The Hard Way", which includes the hit "Groupie Luv." The album achieved gold status and entered no.4 on the Billboard charts.
