Sara Evans is a country singer and songwriter born in Missouri. Since her breakthrough in the late 90s, Evans has made some number 1 Country hits. Her first album, "Three Chords and the Truth", was released in 1997, and was praised by critics for returning to traditional country. Sara Evans' second album, "No Place That Far", was released in 1998, and was certified Gold. The album includes a duet with Vince Gill, "No Place That Far". The song reached number 1 on the Country charts and became Evans' first major hit.
