About India.Arie & Idan Raichel:

India Arie is an American singer and songwriter who won 2 Grammy Awards in 2003 for "Best R&B Album" and "Best Urban/Alternative Performance" for her album "Voyage To India", which was released the same year. It was her first album, "Acoustic Soul" that catapulted her to fame in 2001 and went double platinum. She released 2 more albums in 2006 and 2009 - "Testimony: Vol. 1, Life and Relationship" and "Testimony: Vol. 2, Love and Politics". "Open Door" her latest collaboration with musician Idan Raichel, is set to be released in 2012.

Idan Raichel is an Israeli singer/songwriter with influences from around the world. He has collaborated with Ethiopian, Arab, Yemenite and South African musicians in the Idan Raichel Project and his songs are in Hebrew, English and Amharic. Idan Raichel Projects's first album was released in 2002, followed by a second album "Ma'amakim", released in 2005 and a third album "Ben Kirot Beyti" released in 2008.

India.Arie and Idan Raichel performed together at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Norway in Dec. 2010 with their song "Gift of Acceptance". Their collaboration led to their latest tour of the performance "Open Door".
