Aubrey Drake Graham is a Canadian recording artist and actor, born October 24, 1986. Drake became known for playing the character of Jimmy Brooks on television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Drake signed a recording contract with Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009, and then released his first studio album 'Thank Me Later' in June 2010. This album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and went platinum later on. Drake makes his own music, has also written for other artists such as Alicia Keys and Jamie Foxx and has collaborated with Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Kanye West and Jay-Z.
