Carole King is an American singer-songwriter, and pianist. During the 1960s, she and partner Gerry Goffin penned over two dozen chart hits for numerous artists. King's album 'Tapestry' topped the U.S. album chart In 1971 for 15 weeks. Carole King is a Grammy Award winner and, along with partner Gerry Goffin, was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
