Arctic Monkeys are an English alternative rock band. The group consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, guitar), Jamie Cook (guitar), Nick O'Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals), Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals) and John Ashton as a touring member (keyboard, guitar, backing vocals). Their debut album, "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not", was released in 2006 and was the fastest-selling debut album in the UK. After releasing their second album, "Favorite Worst Nightmare", Arctic Monkeys picked up the 'Best New Artist in the United States award, and other awards from around the world.
