About Anita Baker:



Anita Baker is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter. She has won eight Grammy Awards, and has four platinum albums and two gold albums to her credit. "The Songstress", Baker's debut album, was released in 1983. Her other albums include "Rapture" (1986), "Giving You the Best That I Got" (1988), "Compositions" (1990), "Rhythm of Love" (1994). Ten years later Baker released the album "My Everything". The album was successful and certified gold by the RIAA. In 2005 Baker released her first Christmas album, "Christmas Fantasy", mixing traditional Christmas carols, standards, Broadway shows tunes and three new songs.
