Arthur Kopit's Tony®-nominated play WINGS is a journey through the eye of Emily Stilson, a 1920's wingwalker who discovers her life's journey is a series of courageous adventures, proving that even when her mental self fails her, her daredevil spirit proves unflappable.
Tony Award® winners Arthur Kopit and John Doyle make their Second Stage debuts with WINGS, the first "second staging" of this acclaimed play. Some of Mr. Kopit's many writing credits include Oh Dad, Poor Dad..., Indians (Pulitzer Prize finalist), End of the World with Symposium to Follow and the book for the musicals Phantom and Nine.
Director John Doyle is a Tony®, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winner whose Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd, Company and A Catered Affair.
