Story for Remote New York
Fifty people wearing headphones swarm NYC discovering new perspectives. A pedestrian-based live art experience full of complex soundscapes, Remote New York leads audiences on a journey through NYC that shifts perceptions of familiar landscapes, unifies the group, and conjures up personal memories. Participants will be emailed their starting location 48 hours prior to their start time.
NOTES FOR PARTICIPANTS
•The starting point for Remote New York will be in Brooklyn and accessible by New York City subway (www.mta.info).
•Audience members will be sent the starting location via email 48 hours prior to the performance time.
•Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time. Latecomers will not be accommodated.
•Please wear comfortable walking shoes. The live art experience will include walking throughout New York.
•The final destination will be in Manhattan approximately two hours after the performance start time.
•Due to the nature of the events, we require that patrons are informed of the following when purchasing:
- All participants will be required to sign a short agreement and waiver of liability upon arriving at the event.
- Remote NY takes place rain or shine.
