In this Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award®-nominated comedy by Craig Lucas (The Light in the Piazza) a whirlwind romance takes a startling turn at Rita (Parisse) and Peter’s (Tudyk) wedding when an uninvited guest (Tony Award® winner John Mahoney) congratulates the bride with a kiss. With this one kiss the couple embarks on a mystical journey, traveling through puzzling identities and hidden longings to find the pure connection of love. Sometimes, a kiss isn’t just a kiss.
John Mahoney, best known for playing Martin Crane on "Frasier," won a Tony® for his Broadway debut in The House of Blue Leaves and has appeared in numerous plays with Steppenwolf. Alan Tudyk, who may be familiar to Roundabout audiences from Misalliance in 1997, has gone on to perform on Broadway in musicals such as Epic Proportions and Spamalot as well as numerous films.
