PICKED chronicles a young actor (played by Cloverfield's Michael Stahl-David) who prepares for his life to change when a legendary director casts him as the lead in a big-budget Hollywood movie. But he is not prepared for what comes next, and everything he thinks he knows about himself will be called into question as he discovers what it means to be "picked." Acclaimed playwright Christopher Shinn's plays include the DYING CITY (2008 Pulitzer Prize finalist), WHAT DIDN'T HAPPEN, and FOUR (Royal Court, Olivier Award Most Promising Playwright). PICKED marks his return to The Vineyard following 2004's OBIE Award-winning WHERE DO WE LIVE. Award-winning director Michael Wilson recently helmed the critically-acclaimed THE ORPHANS' HOME CYCLE by Horton Foote and Tennessee Williams' THE MILK TRAIN DOESN'T STOP HERE ANYMORE.
