Built entirely out of the writings of its central characters, North explores Anne Morrow Lindbergh's (wife to aviator Charles) fascination with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of The Little Prince. North tells the story of one woman's struggle to orient herself, to reconcile motherhood with work and love with duty, and to articulate the responsibility of the artist to a world sunk in war.
In keeping with the for/word company's creative technique, North is constructed entirely from the writings, letters, and journals of Anne Morrow Lindbergh, Charles Lindbergh, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. North is based on historical fact, but it is a work of fiction.
Written and Directed by JENNIFER SCHLUETER
