Story for Molly Sweeney

Molly Sweeney tells the story of Molly who has been blind since infancy. When her hopeful husband and ambitious doctor propose an operation to restore her sight, Molly and those around her begin to understand that things may not all be as they seem. Both moving and thought provoking, Molly Sweeney tackles sensitive issues in a beautifully theatrical way. Ireland’s Brian Friel is the playwright behind such classics as Dancing at Lughnasa, Translations, and Philadelphia, Here I Come. Molly Sweeney stars Pamela Sabaugh, an accomplished low vision actress, as well as Paul O’Brien and Tommy Shrider.
