CAUSE CÉLÈBRE presents LOVE DIVIDED BY/TIMES THREE, a Compelling Drama With Tantalizing Tango and Mesmerizing Music. Love Divided By/Times Three is a trilogy which consists of six characters that are dealing with loss against a backdrop of tantalizing tango and mesmerizing music. They slowly begin to trust and hope again.
Loni Ackerman sang her heart out in "Evita" on Broadway. Now she will break your heart as Mary, a former dancer who is losing her memory but never forgets a dance step. She is befriended by Rose (Emmy-Award winner Marilyn Sokol), a mother who has psychologically blocked out parts of her past. Mary teaches Rose the tango and the importance of trust and enables her to come to terms with painful memories of her children (Lisa Bostnar, Kevin Stapleton and Fatima Patacek) in the past and move into the present.
Love Divided By began as a one-act play Off-Broadway. The response was so strong that it was made into a film with an original score by Philip Glass. And now this deeply compelling drama returns to Off Broadway as part of trilogy with an extraordinary Broadway cast.
