Atlantic is thrilled to open the season with HARPER REGAN, NY premiere, from the writer and director of last season's sold-out production of Bluebird. One strange evening, Harper Regan decides to walk away from her husband, her daughter and her home. She tells no one where she's going or whether she's ever coming back. She tosses family, history and fate straight up in the air, and it looks like she might be gone for good.
Stephens has emerged as one of the most renowned and prolific playwrights in his generation in the UK, and has won the Olivier Award for Best New Play for On the Shore of the Wide World in 2005. In Harper Regan, which premiered in 2008 at the National Theatre in London, we are folded into an absorbing story about a woman who explores the limits of loyalty, morality and the bonds of family.
Featuring: Vandit Bhatt, Christopher Innvar, Mahira Kakkar, Jordan Lage, Madeleine Martin, Mary McCann, Mary Beth Peil, Gareth Saxe, Peter Scanavino, John Sharian, Stephen Tyrone Wiliams
