Story for Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical
The Public Theater stages a full production of this legendary musical with Shakespeare in the Park. Directed by Diane Paulus, and starring Jonathan Groff and Will Swenson as Claude and Berger.
Set in 1967 New York, with the Vietnam War at its height. When Claude, part of a tribe of hippies railing against the establishment, is drafted, he must make a dscision about what values are worth fighting for.
