Goliath is written by Takeo Rivera and is directed by Alex Mallory. Inspired by the Greeks, Def Poetry and Ntozake Shange, Goliath tells one young soldier's war story, from home to the front and back again through an ensemble exploration of war and masculinity. With the soldiers home from Iraq but wars still waging abroad, Goliath provides a way to look deeper into what we do during times of war, what behavior becomes excusable and what it means to love when violence is part of the norm. Poetic Theater Productions remounts Takeo Rivera's spoken word play, winner of Outstanding Overall Production of a New Play, Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Ensemble in the 2011 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity.

Know Before You Go
Both romantic and scary, The Phantom of the Opera is a thrilling night of theater with grand emotions.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score, with its beloved signature song “Music of the Night,” sets the mood,
but you may also find yourself humming the gorgeous period costumes and simple yet grand sets
(even the famous chandelier, which probably falls slower than you’d expect, is a thrill).
