GOLF: The Musical, which has played to international acclaim since its Off-Broadway premiere in 2003, is returning to New York City this fall with performances beginning November 20th at the Midtown Theatre, 163 West 46th Street (just east of Broadway). Opening night is set for Monday, December 6th at 8 PM. Book, music and lyrics for GOLF: The Musical are by Michael Roberts, based on a concept by producer Eric Krebs.
Called a "delightfully silly surprise" by the New York Times, GOLF: The Musical returns to New York City after having played through-out the United States and in 50 countries around the world, including a run in Saint Andrews, Scotland, the home of the game of golf, during the 2005 British Open. The show, dubbed a "madcap revue" by The New Yorker, prompted reviewer David Richardson of WOR 710AM to rave "whether or not you play golf, you are going to love this show" and "probably the best entertainment around".
