'GIANT', the musical is based on novel by 1924 Pulitzer prize winner Edna Ferber. Giant is a musical about Texas, a powerful cattleman (Jordan "Bick" Benedict) and his bride (Leslie), family and friends.
Giant tells the story of a Texan family for over 30 years, dealing with issues like racism, bigotry and the effects of the oil boom, to the sounds of an eclectic mix of folk, Mexican, and mariachi together with jazz and rock and roll. GIANT features 22 actors and a 17 piece orchestra on its Broadway premiere.
