FUGUE is a play by Lee Thuna which now makes its long-awaited New York premiere following its triumphant run at regional theaters across the United States. A woman is found wandering in Chicago, her feet blistered and swollen. Doctors at the hospital recognize this as a symptom of the "fugue" state of amnesia. A young psychiatrist assigned to work with her tries to restore her memory but the closer he gets to piecing together the puzzle of her life and the terrible thing that made her want to forget everything, the stronger her desire to run away. His job is to make her remember, but if she does, will HE be repeating the mistake that he made with a patient in the past, which had a devastating effect on his own life?
