Summary

From the Tony-winning team that brought you Hairspray comes a new musical comedy about chasing your dreams... and not getting caught! Catch Me If You Can is the high-flying new musical comedy based on the hit DreamWorks film and the incredible true story that inspired it!

Fast-rising Broadway star AARON TVEIT (Next to Normal, Wicked, Hairspray) stars as Frank W. Abagnale, Jr., a teenager who runs away from home in search of a glamorous new life. With nothing more than a big imagination, a boyish charm and millions of dollars in forged checks, Frank successfully poses as a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer – living the high life and winning the girl of his dreams (played by Tony nominee KERRY BUTLER (Xanadu, Rock of Ages, Little Shop of Horrors). Tony winner and Broadway fave NORBERT LEO BUTZ (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Wicked, Rent) plays Carl Hanratty, the determined FBI agent who chases Frank to the end and catches more than he ever imagined. And Tony nominee TOM WOPAT (Annie Get Your Gun, A Catered Affair, Chicago) returns to Broadway as Frank, Sr.

CATCH ME features a Tony Award-winning “dream team," with a book by TERRENCE McNALLY (The Full Monty, Ragtime), an irresistible score by MARC SHAIMAN & SCOTT WITTMAN (Hairspray), choreography by JERRY MITCHELL (Hairspray, Legally Blonde) and direction by JACK O'BRIEN (Hairspray, The Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels).

Don’t miss this big-hearted, fun musical based on an astonishing real-life story of being young, in love… and in deep, deep trouble!
