Summary

Big Fish on Broadway is based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the popular film directed by Tim Burton. The musical centers on Edward Bloom, a charismatic traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest…and then some. Edward's larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him—except his son, Will.  As Edward lay dying and Will prepares to have a son of his own, Will sets out on a mission to find the truth behind his father's mythic stories.

Big Fish features direction and choreography by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (The Producers), music and lyrics by Tony nominee Andrew Lippa (The Addams Family) and a new book by the movie's screenwriter John August. Two-time Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz (Wicked, The Last Five Years), Tony nominee Kate Baldwin (Giant) and Tony nominee Bobby Steggert (Ragtime) lead the cast as the Bloom family.
