Following a critically-acclaimed inaugural year and international tour, The Bridge Project returns to BAM for it’s second season, led by Tony and Academy Award-winning director Sam Mendes (Broadway’s Cabaret; the films American Beauty and Revolutionary Road).
Year two features another outstanding ensemble of American and British actors and an intriguing pairing of works by Shakespeare: the comedy As You Like It and The Tempest, considered to be Shakespeare’s last play. In their world premiering productions, Mendes and company explore outcasts, power, and magical lands.
