Aladdin, the musical is scheduled to open on
Broadway in the spring of 2014. This new stage version will incorporate songs from the 1992 film's score as well as additional never-before-heard Menken/Ashman songs restored from early drafts of the film. The
Aladdin musical is intended as a return to the authors' original vision: a loving homage to the Hope-Crosby road pictures.
