Story for 33 Variations

Two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda returns to Broadway in 33 Variations, the new play written and directed by Moisés Kaufman (Gross Indecency, The Laramie Project, I Am My Own Wife). Fonda stars as a woman racing against time to solve the mystery of a composer's 200-year-old obsession. As she faces her daughter, her past and Beethoven himself, Katherine must struggle to embrace the legacy of her own life.

Fonda heads a cast of eight, as a woman and mother racing against time to solve a centuries-old mystery about the world¹s greatest composer. This new American play will take you from present-day New York to 19th-century Austria, through the mind of a woman chasing the very heart of an obsession.
