| I went to see Wicked after all my friends said how marvelous it was. I left about 15 minutes before the end, it was boring and predictable. It is definately more for kids than adults and the songs were very much like Glee songs which I hate. Awful show. Much preferred We will rock you or something like Blood brothers. Complete waste of money. |

| I was really disappointed with the show. I was completely bored during the first half. The second half was a bit better - maybe because I knew it was getting closer to the end! The vocals were not as good as I would have expected...not sure what else to say... |

A wonderful show! I went with my family on Christmas Eve for the first time, honestly not knowing what to expect after finding out that there was a new cast but have to say I was blown away! The production was wonderful, the singing and the acting interpretation of the cast was spot on. I have to say Rachel Tucker just earned a new fan, if you haven’t seen her interpretation as Elphaba is definitely a must see, her voice and acting are amazing ... read more it really took me by surprise she really made me fall in love with Elphaba. Gina Beck and Matt Willis were great too. Great cast, beautiful production. However I wish they had a wicked official CD with the London cast and Rachel’s interpretation. The Broadway production seems too cheesy in my opinion in comparison to the London one.
The only down part was the theatre seats there is no much leg room.
I highly recommend it; will definitely go to see it again.

WHAT'S WITH SOME OF THE BAD REVIEWS?! If anything, these people are blind and don't know that Wicked is a MAGICAL experience!! I think we should ban negative reviews and keep positive ones!
I can't believe people would say such things about the BEST award winning musical, and that's a fact! Look it up! |

I was clearly in a different show to everyone else... they loved it, I didn't! In fact, I haven't been so bored in my life.
The lead actors, Glinda and Elphaba were incredibly good, and both could definitely sing, but the story and the songs failed to engage. It was a musical so they sang... trouble is, that just because you put a song in a musical, doesn't mean it adds to the story.

Each to their own I guess, but like others, I would just rather watch the classic that is the Wizard of Oz!

| i have never been so bored in all my life and this show has to be the worst production i have ever seen, the storyline is really non existent and the venue in london is a total dive, cramped, legroom is pathetic and the heat, omg you would melt in there. |

Judging by these reviews I think I must have been in a different show from everyone else. Wicked was a total mess which totally rips the original story apart. Just who/what was supposed to be wicked? Not the wicked witch that's for sure. The sets and FX were excellent (as was the leading lady, the understudy i believe) but it lacked a decent story and parts of the score just made me want to cover my ears.

| Wicked is quite possibly one of the greatest Broadway shows of this generation. I have seen the show I believe three times, and it never ceases to amaze me. After every time I've seen the show, I still can't sleep that night. I've seen it twice in New York and once on tour. Every time has been phenomenal. The set is great, the costumes are fantastic, and the music is, on the contrary to prior reviews, unforgettable. All the performers are great, and the story will be sure to see that you can never see the Wizard of Oz the same way again. Go see this show. I think there is hardly anyone that doesn't know the story of the Wizard of Oz, only "Wicked" tells the story behind the story, from a completely different point of view of the Bad witch, only it turns out she isn't bad at all! and the show is very magical, with the characters flying on stage and other greta effects. I really like the wicked witch, who was green - that is explained too. You barely see the "original" characters of Dorothy, ... read more Toto etc. They are only shadows in the background.
Even if you are the 1% of people who don't know the Wizard of Oz, you will still have a great time at this awesome show!

I went to see this show as the only one of a group not to have seen this show at least 4 times, so before the curtain rose i had high expectations, unfortunately i don’t think these where ever met.
The show is a very good show and is exceptionally performed by the lead characters as well as some stunning scenery, however I felt that the supporting cast players/characters lacked any real charisma and the songs where not as memorable as some ... read more of the great shows ( footloose, Cats etc...)
Im sure people will disagree, however maybe these thoughts are just a case of a show being over hyped as opposed to not delivering.
