Very, very funny. Review by: Anne, Dec 15, 2006 |
| Entertaining, feel-good production. Catchy songs, but focus more on comedy than on music. Some actors were more comedians than singers, which weakened the whole. |

"The Producers"....A Rollicking Good Time" Review by: TNBigJohn, Oct 12, 2006 |
The London production of "The Producers" is a rollicking good time from beginning to end. I don't think I've ever laughed so much in a theatre production.
We were just in London and in addition to "The Producers", saw "Phantom", "We Will Rock You" and "Cabaret" (in previews). "The Producers" was our favorite. |

Nothing to write home about Review by: Toby44, Sep 14, 2006 |
The play was alright, but it was a little too slapstick for me. It seemed like a play written in the thirty's and not updated since. I was expecting something a little more intelligent than some guy writhing on the floor and the audience getting a laugh out of it.It kept going on and on. I heard it took two years to get tickets in New York, so I was expecting it to be really good. But in the end it was highly disappointing. |

Enjoy! Review by: sally31, Sep 12, 2006 |
This comedy about a producer trying to create a musical that will FAIL, continues to entertain. This situational comedy within a comedy provides lots of laughs, and will leave you rolling on the floor. The period sets and costumes add to the magic on stage, and the characters, expertly acted by a great cast, made it memorable. Even though the play deals with the sensitive subject of the Nazism it manages to do so gracefully and humorously. ... read more Even now the word "Ula" leaves me smiling. Trust me, you'll take this show with you wherever you go.

Review by: Jen, Aug 29, 2006 |
| Now i love Mel Brooks even more! The whole thing is soooo funny and ridiculous. The songs are surprisingly good, and of course Springtime For Hitler looks even grander on the stage than in the old movie version. Also, the last 2 minutes of 'Betrayed' where Bialystock recaps the entire story is fantastic. It's worth seeing just to see that one scene. |

| The producers is the funniest show on broadway! If you have't seen it, I highly recommend it, but leave young kids at home. |
