An innovative and energetic experience that you will want to see again and again! Review by: Woos, Oct 26, 2006 |
| The energy of the show comes across from the first act with the African performers setting the pace and drawing you into the narrative of the piece. Chaos is excellent, as are the Irish troupe and the finale scene with African and Irish together had us all on our feet. I would recommend the show to families and adults and anyone who is looking for a good night out where you leave the Theatre happy and enrgised, as we did! |

Review by: stuart of lincs, Oct 24, 2006 |
| WOW! Irish dance to the extreme. I have seen this show twice now and it seems to just get more and more exhilarating (time for number three). The story line is unique and the performance is outstanding, with the rhythm of the African drums and the clatter of the Irish shoes had me tapping and clapping throughout the performance. I was in awe (unless there is a better word to describe my emotions and feelings) from the start to the finish and ... read more found my self on the drive home still tapping my hands to the music whilst watching it all over again in my head (driving without due care I guess). The dance was perfect and unlike some Irish performances, I found that I could actually follow this story line and as far as I know to date no one has done such a unique style. Hopefully in time the venue and stage will be bigger and many more performers to blow my mind as it has the past two shows. My advice is if you are in London and want to be uplifted or even if you’re not in London, get down to the riverside studio and watch the greatest Irish African show to date, you won’t walk out without tapping or smiling. 10/10 for Stormforce....EXCELLENT and thank you Stormforce.
