Wonderful Phantom and Christine, but no "Oh La La" from Meg Giry Review by: Peter_Bath_England, Jul 18, 2010 |
| This is a wonderful show, which I've already seen twice and will be going again in September, when it should have settled into its run with the teething difficulties sorted out. My only criticism is that of the part of Meg Giry is played with an American accent. We all know that Meg is an adult French lady (the basis of accent won't change much beyond early teens), so why doesn't Summer Strallen play the part as such. Maybe another actress would ... read more be better suited to the role with more "Oh La La" and less nasal "Eh-Eh" .. Get my drift. It's over to you Ms Strallen, you sound similar to Aunt Bonnie Langford playing an adult "Baby June" (Gypsy). That aside, go and see the show; it's ALW at his best. Peter, City of Bath |

Love Never Dies did not dissapoint !! Review by: UKVisitor , Jun 23, 2010 |
| Having recently spent some time in London on business I thought I would check this show out. Yes, as the previous reveiwer stated it does lack in story line. I did enjoy the acting and singing. The cast was pretty amazing to me. I didnt care for the ending though. Without the strength of the main characters I think the show would fail. It was a great night out at the theatre and I am happy I got to see it. |

| Having just seen one of the last previews of "Love never Dies" I really wanted to like it. It is a show with such potential and an amazing cast led by Ramin karimloo. His voice is magical however the music and the weak storyline severley hinder this production. The sets are also rather minimal and don't capture the energy of coney island at the turn of the century. While the storyline was very dark and it left characters with a disappointing ... read more sense of closure, I still enjoyed the show. The problem is that with a better score and book, this production could have soured like the original. The question now is, will it? |
