Far from the original Review by: zzho, Sep 14, 2006 |
| I didn't really like the animals. I though that they should have stayed with the cartoon theme instead. It is after all a disney cartoon film, not a realistic one and my son was disappointed because he wanted to see the characters from the movie in their "film-form" and not some jungle play. Just take into account that some very small children might not understand that this is the same Lion King that they love. |

A beautiful adaptation of the Disney Classic Review by: Rachelm, Sep 12, 2006 |
THe Lion King follows the story of the lion cub Simba from his childhood without a father to his defeat of his uncle Mufasa and to rule over the animal kingdom. The production brings to life the disney film, artisically creating the shape of each animal and bringing the African plain to the stage. A combination of dancer and costume brings the animals to life. In order to see the effects best it is recommended to sit further back from the ... read more stage, as the animals enter along the aisles. To the Elton John and Tim Rice Soundtrack are added new original songs like "He Lives in You." When all of the dancers are on the stage the sight is truly magical. A great show for the whole family. |

Unbelievable Show Review by: , Aug 29, 2006 |
| The show was unbelievable. At first I thought yea how are they going to portray all of the animals and the entire story. But once it started from "Circle of Life" to "Hakuna Mutata" and the ending. The cast was unbelievable and the set was just WOW. Its a mixture of humor, sadness and love. |

Best pick for the Disney fan and for families Review by: , Aug 29, 2006 |
| This was so moving from beginning to end! I had tears in my eyes watching the animals walk through the theatre to get up on stage. The costumes, stage performances and singing were all outstanding! The story was well done. We have seen most of the Disney plays plus a few others and this one is the best and my first pick if I had to decide which one to see! |
