| This is a great dance show with beautiful Gershwin songs. The chorus was strong and I couldn't take my eyes off of a few girls who perfectly embodied their roles. The woman playing Patsy was a highlight for me. I felt like some of the leads (while good actors) were struggling with their southern/American accents, which did take away some of the charm for me. The diction was also poor in some spots. There just seemed to be more focus on dance and ... read more beautiful singing, than making sure the audience could understand the lyrics. All in all I would recommend the show. There is a little something in it for everyone and the plot is fast-paced, farcical and amusing. Enjoy it! |
