Tons of really crude humor. Really, couldn't they come up with a more creative way to get a laugh?! Not everything has to be dirty.
I definitely wouldn't recommend taking kids to this, and if constant overt sexual innuendo is not for you, don't go see it. |

| I highly advise people who have not seen the movie (in particular) to get tickets to the show!!! Of course it does not outdo the film, but it's a bubbly feel-good musical so I did not expect it to!! It is fantastic for those new to broadway--there is a good cast, great production, and several funny lines. It arrives in my hometown this May, so I will be seeing it again. |

| Terrible, boring, not funny...um, what else to say. The music is not good and was wayyyy too loud (I couldn't hear half of the words). If we hadn't have been with a group of 12 others, we would have walked out at intermission. |

| The show is closing so I figured I better see it now. After the beloved THE PRODUCERS, I couldn't get myself to see this one because I knew it never would measure up. Well it was close enough...you laugh your brains out from start to finish...and they spare now expense on scenery and special effects. It's all so much fun. | The show was fantastic. The production was great, the music was very good and we were kept laughing the whole time. Very well played. There was a lot of sexual innuendo and some 'dirty' language which seemed to offend the older folks in the audience. If you can take a joke, go see the show! |

| Just recently saw Young Frankenstein and from the minute the curtain opened I laughed the whole time. I went with my mother and sisters so it is great for all ages at least over 12 years of age. The plot follows the original Mel Brooks movie but with great catching tunes thrown in. I highly recomend for good laughs. |

| I took my family giving my 12 & 14 year olds their first visit to B-way because of the great discount I received on BBox. I've enjoyed the movie so I enjoyed seeing on stage. It was a good show, the kids got a kick out of it, but nothing up to the standard of so many shows I've seen on Broadway. To me it was a fun time for the right price, but no more than that. |

Not my favortie show, I don't think I would have picked it myself, but it was funny and I left the theater feeling happy. The sets were wonderful!The best part/song, Puttin on the Ritz, is in the second act was great! Not for children due to the stong sexual jokes and gestures.
If you have seen a lot of shows you should add it to your list, but it is very different from what you would typically think Broadway is all about. |

| I got the coupon code from this site and went on Saturday night. My 76 year old mother went as well as 6 other women varying in ages down to 14. We all LOVED this musical. It is very Mel Brooks which means very entertaining. The music is incredible. Full orchestra and huge production numbers. Beth was soooo funny. I have to say that I was disappointed with this show. The jokes were tired and while some of them are definitely from the film (and retain some nostalgic humor), others were just bad. The music was mediocre overall and the only really stand-out number was "Putting on the Ritz" as everyone did a wonderful job with that. The cast was pretty good and I must say that Shuler Hensley (the monster) and Beth Leaval (Frau Blucher) were marvelous. I ... read more have seen Roger Bart do better work on stage but he was good.
