| The author does an excellent job setting up a gripping drama and "charcoaling" in the supporting players. Perhaps, seeing it on a Sunday evening had the actors just a little "off their game," but it was still fine theater (albeit a little too "Law and Order"-y for my taste) until a denouement that struck this viewer as "out of left field." This is, I'm afraid a second-rate (could use some sharp editing and significantly better casting of the son ... read more and the girlfriend and/or better direction of their performances) effort by a first rate playright. Methinks she came up with a good idea and while it didn't quite work, she pushed it out of the nest with a "Good luck, anyway" attitude. |

| I was part of the first audience to watch this play and I was nicely surprised. It was a wonderful performance. Every actor on stage was strong and exciting to watch-so much so that I could not pick a favourite. I loved it because it is about something many people can relate to-a family dealing with the absence of their father, with an unpredictable ending.
